A Community

With Purpose

At Asbury Ridge, everything begins with the people who are already here.

As a not-for-profit community, our focus is simple. We serve residents well, today and over time. What creates the best experience for the people who live here guides our decisions, not short-term outcomes.

That means reinvesting in the community, supporting the people who live and work here, and staying true to a mission centered on care, respect, and connection.

A Different Kind of Partnership

Choosing a community like this is not a transaction. It is the beginning of a relationship.

Here, residents are not simply part of the community. They help shape it. A steady sense of collaboration and shared experience runs through it, where input matters and people feel heard.

It is a place where you are known, where conversations matter, and where the experience continues to grow with the people who call it home.

Thoughtfully Designed

For How You Live

We shape every detail of the community with intention. That includes how it looks and how it feels to live here day to day.

From the layout of residences to the flow of shared spaces to the way the campus opens out toward the lake and the foothills, everything supports both independence and connection. You will find spaces that invite gathering, as well as those that offer quiet and privacy.

It is a balance that lets you move through your day comfortably, naturally, and on your own terms.

Stability and Support

You Feel

There is a confidence that comes from being part of something stable, thoughtful, and well-established.

At Asbury Ridge, that stability shows up in consistent leadership, a long-term commitment to the community, and an approach that puts residents first. It is not something we emphasize. It is something you feel.

Support is always present, without being intrusive. The focus stays on maintaining independence, with additional support available through outside providers in your independent residence, or on-site Assisted Living or Memory Care if needed. It is a balance that lets you live fully today while feeling confident about the future.

There is something special about being part of a community truly connected to its surroundings.

Asbury Ridge reflects the character of this region. It is welcoming, grounded, and genuinely neighborly. Many residents have long-standing ties to Maryville and the broader East Tennessee area, and that shared connection adds to the overall sense of belonging.

Perhaps the best way to understand what makes this community feel different is to hear from the people who live here. Time and again, residents share that it is not the setting alone. It is how everything comes together in a way that feels natural, supportive, and truly like home.

I had spent most of my life in East Tennessee, so leaving my house felt like a big decision. What surprised me was how quickly I felt at home here. The neighbors already knew each other. There were routines I could step right into. I didn't have to build anything from scratch. It was already here.

We wake up and look out at the mountains most mornings. Our days are still ours. We decide how we spend them, where we go, and who we spend time with. The campus is easy to walk, quiet when we want quiet, and connected when we want company. We didn't expect the setting to matter as much as it does.
— Don R., Cottage Resident
We didn't move here because something was wrong. We moved here because we wanted to make a thoughtful decision while we were still healthy and active. Knowing that support is available if we ever need it lets us stop thinking about the future and focus on right now. That's worth a lot.

A Choice

You Feel Good About

In the end, the difference is hard to capture in a list.

It is how the community feels.

It is how people treat one another.

It is the confidence that you have found a place that aligns with what matters most to you.
